Quote without moving funds
Configure a valid Stellar address with a USDC trustline. A quote checks recipient readiness; it does not authorize or pay.
import { Tilcai } from "tilcai-sdk";
const tilcai = Tilcai.fromEnv();
await tilcai.verifyEnvironment();
const quote = await tilcai.payments.quote({
source: "monad", // testnet only
amount: "1.25",
payTo: process.env.STELLAR_RECIPIENT!,
});
console.log(quote);Choose who signs
| mode | Authorization | Gas |
|---|---|---|
| gasless | EVM wallet · EIP-3009 / EIP-712 | Relayer |
| account | Smart account passkey · ERC-1271 | Relayer |
| external | Wallet broadcasts approve + burn | Source: payer · destination: relayer |
The transaction flow uses payments.pay({ from, amount, payTo, signer, idempotencyKey, approve }). Do not execute it until you review the quote and approve the movement of funds. viem and @stellar/stellar-sdk are optional dependencies for their respective signers.
Retries and errors
Keep the idempotency key and paymentId. If PaymentError has uncertain: true, call payments.get(id) or reconcile the existing attempt; do not create another payment.
Availability depends on your instance. Check /health and /v1/routes before integrating.
