Smart accounts and passkeys

The account belongs to its owner; the passkey authorizes. The agent requests actions and the relayer sponsors gas.

Status by environment

Functional passkey EVM account tests were recorded on Fuji and Monad Testnet, along with Soroban account issuance on Stellar Testnet. Mainnet deployments are team-confirmed, but public addresses, hashes and activation verification remain pending.

Issuance and signing

The API requires accounts:write to issue and accounts:read to query. The SDK accepts passkeyOwner with a P-256 public key; Stellar also supports ed25519Owner. An account moves from DEPLOYING to ACTIVE after on-chain verification.

Funding and recovery

Creating an account does not fund it. A Stellar C… address does not receive EVM assets sent directly: use an enabled route and validate recipient compatibility. Budgeted agent delegation, tested recovery and audit remain pending.
